Dawlish Suit
This is the premium range cloth again from Brook Taverner, pure wool and the super 110’s weight. For those who quality and pure wool is a primary factor in choosing a suit this is where you need to look.
Available in three fabrics, grey sharkskin, navy herringbone and grey birdseye.
The sharkskin is basically the name for the colour and finish but it is effectively a light grey pure wool suit in what is sometimes called pick on pick (this is just a slight fleck in the colour but basically plain grey).
The navy herringbone is exactly as described, a very nice fabric and not quite plain because of the herringbone pattern on the fabric.
The grey birdseye, if you are not familiar with the name, is a tiny dot pattern on the fabric which just gives it a little bit of detail but from 10 yards away appears plain.
It is dry clean only and is a 100% pure new wool super 100 weight which gives it a lovely feel and makes it a high quality suit.
The jacket is in the most popular style of two button fastening with twin vents and is in the standard Brook Taverner fit but with angled side pockets which gives it a slimmer look and it also has a 4 button cuff.
The plain fronted trousers have the usual Brook Taverner stretch waistband, belt loops, slanted side pockets, two hip pockets, french bearer, half lined and as you would expect, like the jacket, are dry clean only.
