What is a masonic suit ? This is a question we have been asked at www.mens-suits-online.co.uk for many years. It is basically two pieces from a black suit (the jacket and the waistcoat) with a the trousers changed from the matching pair to a pair of striped trousers.
As with most things there are a lot of qualities around and generally you get what you pay for. We find the range from Scott by The Label to be the perfect compromise between price, quality and fit.
With an extensive range of jackets, trousers and waistcoats to choose from there is sure to be something for everyone.
But which suit do I go for, well to us there are two ways of doing it. The first is the black herringbone fabric jacket, with the matching waistcoat and then the stipe trousers. This has always been a popular combo and some people prefer this fabric as it is not just a plain black suit. But there is another way.
As you are needing a black jacket and waistcoat with stripes we tend to find most people that buy from us in the shop tend to go for the plain black Scott jacket, the matching waistcoat and the stripes. There is a pretty simple reason for this, if at a later date you buy a pair of black trousers, by just buying the trousers to match the jacket you then also have a three piece black suit.
Now you could also do this with the herringbone range but most people prefer the other option for two simple reason. The first is the fabric of the plain black is not as heavy and the second is most simply prefer plain black.
It is at this point that shopping with www.mens-suits-online.co.uk really comes into its own. We send every suit with a free extra pair of trousers. Now with a normal lounge suit this is simple, you just get a spare of trousers to match the pair you have ordered. But with the masonic you have another option.
If you think you need two pairs of the striped trousers because you wear them a lot then fine, we will make sure you receive the same pair twice as per the above normal lounge suits. But there is another option, we are going to send a free pair anyway (providing the second pair are the same price or less) s why not drop us an email and ask for the second pair to be the plain trousers. By this we mean to match the jacket, that way you have the masonic suit but you also have a three piece black suit without paying a single extra penny.
Two suits for the price of one, can’t be bad.
