Casual Suits are Simply Essential

Suits are back in fashion in a big way, and not just in a work environment. Just look at the latest Hollywood movies, smart is back!

Also, the lines are becoming increasingly blurred between work and leisure suits, for example the pin stripe used to be the most popular suit for business, but it's now very much part of a casual wardrobe worn with a shirt but no tie.

Fabrics can vary but stick to good wool content and sometimes the use of Lycra in small quantities to ensure a good hard wearing suit which also has a bit of stretch.

In a casual suit linen has always been popular and was sometimes referred to as a travel suit. The problem with linen is it can look creased very quickly. Some firms have solved this now with fabrics that look like pure linen but actually have a high cotton content. All the style with none of the creases!

If you only want one suit in your wardrobe it has to be a black two button suit. Today  two button suits are certainly the most fashionable but they are also the most practical and they look classy in any social situation. Also, with black you have a neutral colour which means any shirt and tie combination would go.

The black suit also has another trick up its sleeve, the dress down look. Black suit jackets can be worn with a pair of jeans to create a great casual cool look.

Don’t forget, as with a business suit for a good fit stick to mix and match as you can get close to made to measure without spending a fortune. Plus should the occasion arise you could even, at a push, use it as a dinner suit as there is very little difference.

Men's suits are once again very fashionable and cool and an essential part of any smart man's wardrobe.
